Terms of use

These are plain statements of how the service is offered today, not a legal contract. Proper reviewed terms will replace this before accounts or payments exist.

What the service is

A free check of the public email settings published by a domain, with an explanation of what those settings mean and which published rule each result comes from.

What it is not

  • It is not a guarantee about whether your email reaches anyone.
  • It is not a security assessment, an audit, or a certification.
  • It is not advice about compliance with any law or regulation.
  • It does not claim to find every possible problem, and it states its limits in the report.

Reasonable use

Checks are rate limited so the service stays available. Please do not use it to scan large numbers of unrelated domains automatically. Everything it reads is public, but volume is still load on other people's infrastructure as well as ours.

Accuracy

Results are produced by fixed rules from published standards, and every finding cites its source so you can check it. Mistakes are still possible. If you find one, telling us is genuinely the most valuable thing you can do, and it will be treated as a serious problem rather than a suggestion.
